The Orpheus Centre

The Orpheus Centre is a residential performing arts centre for young disabled people, generally with physical and/or sensory impairments. We don't set out to train our apprentices to be actors, singers or musicians. We use their enthusiasm for the performing arts to teach skills for living and improve self-knowledge, self-confidence and teamwork.
Since we started ten years ago many young people have completed their apprenticeships and left us to go to college, live in their own flats and generally live life with a level of independence that they, their parents and social workers say would have been unthinkable without their years at Orpheus.

Orpheus wouldn't be where it was today without the tremendous support it receives from so many people.

The Meet Coulsdon Business Exhibition has given us a free stand at this years exhibition which will give us a great oppotunity to create more awareness for The orpheus Centre in the local area.
We would like to ask local businesses if they would be kind enough to donate a prize for our raffle at the exhibition.

For example you could offer a free facial if you are a beautician or a meal for two if you own a restaurant.
If you would like to donate a prize please contact Charlotte Barton who will be running our stand.
